Hello, and welcome! If you've tried many diets, and none has really worked for you in the long run, you've come to the right place. I'm Jan Bertucci, a 37-year-old wife, and mother of two great kids. I originally created this personal web site to chronicle what was then my uphill battle to lose weight. This home page became a great motivator, as I shared all my weekly triumphs and failures for the whole world to read.
Like many of you out there, I had tried various weight loss methods, from low fat diets to low carb plans, from pre-packaged meals to diet pills (which I knew were not ideal for my health). I even entertained the thought of undergoing liposuction, but in the end, I decided to save those thousands of dollars for my children's college fund :-) In August 2008, my cousin introduced me to a program that changed my life, and I think it will also change yours for the better. I tried NutriSystem twice, but failed both! I did go through weeks of losing a couple of pounds, but only to gain them back :-( I tried to keep going with my weight loss, but once you are off their food, you only gain the weight back. I didn't want to pay NutriSystem for the rest of my life!

Once I learned how to eat right, I lost 70 pounds in two and a half months! I've kept the extra weight off with ease, since November 2008 :-) Almost two years later, I couldn't be happier with the result. I feel fantastic, and the great thing is I've kept the weight off without being "on a diet".
